PulseChain launched as an Ethereum-compatible proof-of-stake network. It began from an Ethereum system-state fork, creating a separate network with its own chain ID, native PLS for gas, and its own transaction history.
What makes it different
Its own rules, its own trade-offs.
EVM-compatible means Ethereum-style wallets and contracts can work with it; it does not mean assets, balances, applications, or security are the same as Ethereum's.
Not the same as: a guarantee, a bank account, or a customer-service payment rail.
How a transaction becomes real
From wallet to chain.
A wallet signs a transaction for chain ID 369 and pays gas in PLS.
Validators propose and attest to blocks under PulseChain's proof-of-stake rules.
The transaction becomes part of the PulseChain ledger, not the Ethereum ledger.

Why the token exists.
PLS is the network's native gas asset. Supply and validator incentives follow PulseChain's own protocol rules.

Copied tokens are not automatically liquid or supported. Confirm the chain, URL, token contract, and bridge route before signing anything.
Verify it yourself
Look at the chain.
A block explorer lets you inspect public transactions, blocks, addresses, and fees. Never paste a recovery phrase or private key into one.
